Operations Manager - Insurance

SUMMARY:
Responsible for strategy development for the effective operation of the insurance company.

POSITION INFO:

One of our clients in the Insurance industry has a vacancy available for an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team.

Purpose of this position:

The Operations Manager is responsible for strategy development for the effective operation of the insurance company. He/she must manage the operational alignment and implementation of strategic objectives to support the bottom-line performance.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic development for the insurance company.
• Execution of the strategic objectives.
• Monitoring and Reporting on business performance.

Qualifications:

• Commercial degree (Finance/Accounting/Business Management/Risk Management/Economics/ Insurance).
• Active Registration with FSCA with RE5 Certification.
• RE1 Certification is desirable.
• Post-graduate qualification in Business/ Finance/Risk/Economics is desirable.
• 7-10 years’ experience in Senior Management Operations including but not limited to:
  • Insurance Value Chain - Strategy Development - UMA transaction structuring - Reinsurance - Leadership and Management Impact - Risk Management.
