JOB SUMMARY:
Start immediately! Operations Manager role, based in Polokwane. Report to the Director : Aggregates of this Construction / Quarry operation and be responsible for the Management of 6-7 Supervisors as well as be involved in plant production and production processes; logistics; procurement of parts and dealing with customers / suppliers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed Matric, with a completed Technical Qualification, coupled with more than 10 years working experience in a similar role ideally within the Construction / Aggregates and / or Crushing facility. Be responsible for crushing fix and mobile plants - operations, optimize production and maintenance; yellow metal - optimize efficient use of dumpers, loaders and excavators; turnaround at workshop; turnaround of trucks loading and off-loading on-site and on-site; driving the turnaround of breakdowns (trucks); procurement of parts; communication of correct statistics; and dealing with customers and suppliers. Extensive Management experience in managing 6-7 Supervisors essential. Successful incumbent will need their own transport and valid drivers license. Position also requires travelling to other operations in Tzaneen and Makhado as and when needed.
