SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an opportunity available for an Operations Specialist in the Brits area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
4 years’ relevant experience of which 2 years at a management level
Computer literacy: MS Office, SAP

KPAs:

Control production & scheduling of production and shutdown work according to the defined production requirements
Balance MES +SAP for production every week
Manage the overall maintenance strategy for the plant
Document and review the plant maintenance strategy on an annual basis to ensure that it is aligned with the business plan
Solve problems and implement solutions
Follow up warranty claims on component failures on high criticality equipment
Contractor management
