Based in Nasrec Site Mech. (pref.) or Chem. Engineering degree Operational management experience of at least 5 years (mandatory)

POSITION INFO:
Responsible for the operational overseeing and providing support to the Site Manager. Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure efficient, safe and cost-effective production. Responsible for optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvements in operations. Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop and optimize production systems. Lead projects from concept through implementation and commissioning. Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes and equipment to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with all relevant departments to troubleshoot problems. Monitor daily production targets and throughputs from all relevant departments. Engage, evaluate, and manage vendors and contractors to ensure technical compliance, cost control, and timely delivery. Oversee system infrastructure development and drive continuous process improvements. Prepare technical reports, flow diagrams, cost estimates, and budgets to present during business review meetings. Support all operations departments in matters arising and RCA's. Leadership Standards To lead effectively. Articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Possess strategic thinking capabilities to navigate the industry's challenges and opportunities (Forecasting future trends, identifying potential risks and devising long-term plans). Foster a team culture that values diverse. perspectives and encourages open dialogue. Utilize the unique strengths of each team member. Multitask with projects, departments and daily duties. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Team\/Personnel management Team collaboration Project Delivery Compliance Adherence Food Safety and Quality Culture Desired Experience & Qualification Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering Proven work experience in an operational management position (5 years' experience).
