POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Senior QA Analyst / Tester (Manual) overseeing the testing process to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This includes creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

Skills & Experience:
5 years of experience as a Tester or QA Analyst
Test Planning: Developing test plans based on project requirements and specifications. Understanding the scope of testing, identifying test scenarios, and defining testing objectives
Test Case Design: Creating detailed test cases that cover various scenarios, including positive and negative test cases
Test Execution: Executing test cases manually to identify defects or issues in the software
Defect Reporting and Tracking: Documenting any defects or issues found during testing and reporting them to the development team. Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues
Regression Testing: Performing regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
Collaboration: Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate testing progress and findings. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers
Quality Assurance: Contributing to the overall quality assurance process by identifying areas for process improvement, suggesting best practices, and ensuring adherence to quality standards
Documentation: Maintaining documentation related to test plans, test cases, test results, and other testing artifacts
Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies

Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in IT or related field
ISTQB Certification
