Opportunity for an Accountant

POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established business in the engineering and construction sector where finance plays a key role in supporting operational success. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on, detail-driven finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and is confident partnering with teams across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable, operationally focused business. Duties: Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Process intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet schedules Prepare VAT, tax-related reconciliations, and statutory submissions Oversee debtors, creditors, and support audit requirements Education and Experience: BCom Accounting or Finance 3+ years' accounting experience in a commercial environment SAICA or SAIPA articles completed CIMA would be an advantage Experience on Pastel Accounting and\/or Xero If you meet the above requirements and are looking for an exciting opportunity within a professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.
