SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading specialist ophthalmology practice in the Lowveld, is seeking a new graduate or early-career Optometrist with a strong interest in medical ophthalmology.

POSITION INFO:

✨ Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct comprehensive patient histories and clinical examinations
✅ Perform and interpret OCT, fundus photography, angiography, Pentacam & biometry
✅ Assist with cataract and refractive surgical planning
✅ Provide postoperative care
✅ Conduct retinoscopy and paediatric refractions
✅ Contribute to optimising digital clinical workflows
✅ Work closely within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology team

📌 Requirements:
✔ Bachelor of Optometry (HPCSA registered or pending)
✔ Strong interest in ophthalmology and high-end diagnostics
✔ Excellent communication skills & emotional maturity
✔ High computer literacy (essential for a digital workflow)
✔ Willingness to learn in a specialist surgical environment
