The company:
I am working with a software company with offices throughout the UK, who are looking for an experienced Oracle Practice Director with a strong understanding of Oracle HCM. They are at the forefront of Oracle development and have been for a number of years now - they are doing things that others simply can''t! Being a Platinum partner, they work alongside some of the industry''s biggest hitters and the scope of projects you will be working on are leading the way in the Oracle world.
They have offices in Scotland, London and also the midlands, so this role can really be based from anywhere across the UK. You will work from home for the most part, as well as an office visit around once a week and then of course client visits.
The role:
This is a role for someone who can lead and manage a team of around 30 staff, all Oracle experts. You will be in charge of the specific HCM business area and after starting, you will be tasked with hiring in two more Managers in your team to help out. It is likely that you will come from a consulting background and you must be well versed in Oracle implementations as well as good knowledge in the HCM space. This position could also be for someone who has managed a team of circa 30 before, or for someone who has looked after a smaller team and is ready to make the step up.
The day to day role will involve a lot of pre-sales work and building on relationships in order to gain new customers. Around about 50% of the role will focus on pre-sales, with around 15% on delivery and the rest on strategic management. Within the pre-sales area, you will need to define go-to-market strategies as well as deliver pre-sales presentations to potential customers. There are a number of other different responsibilities to this role, which I would be happy to discuss on a call.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Proven experience of team management within the Oracle HCM domain
** Having managed a team of circa 10 plus
** Previous experience of lead HCM Consultant / Solution Architect with 5+ end to end Transformation implementations
** Minimum of 3 to 5 years'' experience with Oracle Cloud (ideally Fusion)
** Knowledge/Understanding of ERP, Change Management is a plus
