Responsibilities:
Organizational Development (OD)
- OD is a strategic goal for the Head of People Operations role with key initiatives defined to support the realisation of this goal:
- Supporting the talent pipeline within the organization through the development and management of innovative talent acquisition, talent development, talent retention and succession planning systems
- A critical focus of the role will be to develop systems to ensure that the culture is embedded and maintained as the organisation scales
- Delivering on diversity goals
- Defining People Operations systems and processes to support data enhanced decisions on people development
 The Head of People Operations is responsible for the development and implementation of the business’s talent off-shoring program to acquire, develop and retain team members in various countries globally
Performance Management
 Ensure the implementation of a Performance Management framework across various divisions
 Ensure performance management lead measures are aligned to the strategic objectives of the Company
 Clarification of roles and responsibilities for both line managers and employees
 Facilitating performance improvement plans for underperforming employees as identified by management;
 Perform skills audits
Employee relations (ER)
 Advise on ER issues in line with SA legislation and company policy taking account of relevant business objectives/imperatives and industry best practice, in order to minimise legal risks
 Ensure fairness and compliance of disciplinary hearings, grievances, and appeal hearings
 Support and provide advice to line management/senior team on ER related matters
 Facilitate training and communicate ER related policies and guidelines to line managers
 Monitor effectiveness and compliance with guidelines
 Ensure open communication channels on ER issues
 Conduct all processes in a manner that upholds integrity and all other good governance principles
Relationship Management
 Participate in the sourcing of external Service Providers (i.e. recruitment agencies, learnerships, etc.)
 Define, identify and facilitate interventions to transfer HR knowledge to the line ensuring that management is suitably equipped to maximise HR capacity.  Establish business partnerships with Senior Management, Line Managers and Group stakeholders
Training
 Company Onboarding: HR Onboarding training for new recruits.
 Performance Management training for line managers
Terminations
Complete exit interviews for all employees leaving the organisation
Requirements:
EDUCATION
Degree
Post Graduate Degree
An HR Qualification is not a prerequisite
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 years of experience within Organisational Development leadership roles
Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office
Must be willing to travel etensively locally and internationally
