POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Orion ILS Logistics invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Branch Manager position based in Cape Town. The role is responsible for Planning, Directing, Monitoring and Controlling branch operations through intelligent planning in line with Orionâ??s Service Level Agreement. To deliver efficient and cost-effective functionality and sustained profitability of the business operation. To ensure the smooth and optimum running / use of company infrastructure.

All handling of Pharmaceutical Goods and Medical devices must be in accordance with the Operational requirements of the Business and the Regulatory requirements of the relevant Statutory Bodies in South Africa as per the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965 (as amended).

The Branch Manager will also perform functions relating to Quality Assurance and Compliance in accordance with Good Distribution Practice Guidelines.

The successful incumbent will be required to attend a 4 week Induction and Training, held in Johannesburg

Minimum:

• Minimum 3- 5 yearsâ?? experience in Logistics and or Warehousing
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management / organisational skills
• The ability to manage numerous priorities at once
• Proven reasoning and analytical skills
• Must have managerial / leadership skills
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly advantageous
