Overhead Crane Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Sales Representative required for a reputable client manufacturing overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment as well as providing quality repairs, maintenance and service inspections.  It is essential that candidates present with a technical background and exposure to the material handling / crane industry in order to be considered for the role as well as have their own vehicle.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the Role: To generate sales based on the organisation's product offerings. Success will be measured by sales brough in, customer service and customer retention. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical information and solutions to clients and suppliers. Preparing quotations and tenders for clients. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction. Provide administrative support RFQs and other sales related documents. Maintain client databases. Attending to existing buying customers. New customer development. Develop and grow all product ranges. Assist with technical support on sites. Generating new customer growth. Quote follow ups. Weekly reports and maintain the CRM system. Market research. Assisting at shows. Complying with any reasonable tasks given by any member of management from time to time. Identify new customer base and report monthly on progress. Flexibility of extensive travelling. Achieve set monthly sales targets. Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 or equivalent. Technical background essential. Computer literacy on MS Office packages. Well-developed report writing skills. Well-developed problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Excellent communication skills. Sound product \/ service knowledge. Attention to detail. Previous customer service experience. Previous experience in material handling and crane industry beneficial. The position offers a CTC with the benefit of provident fund included therein, fuel card, laptop and cellphone with a lucrative commission structure.
