An exciting opportunity is available for aspiring Electrical and Mechanical Engineering graduates seeking to complete their P1 or P2 training. This structured 6-month in-service training programme offers practical exposure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, followed by the potential for an additional 6-month contract based on performance. You will gain valuable workplace experience, develop technical skills, and work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic production setting.
You will be placed within a leading food manufacturing operation, where operational excellence, continuous improvement, and skills development are central to success. This environment offers strong mentorship and exposure to real production challenges, providing a solid foundation for your engineering career.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in a structured P1 or P2 training programme
- Gain hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical engineering environments
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities
- Work closely with technical teams and supervisors
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering challenges
What You Bring
- Completed S4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum average of 65%
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy with a minimum average of 65%
- South African citizenship
- Between 18 and 29 years old
- No more than 2–3 years of work experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong willingness to learn, reliability, and motivation
- Ability to commute daily to the training site
