Job Description

Your duties will encompass:

Ensure the smooth and efficient nightshift operation of the warehouse, including receiving/operations, dispatch and inventory management, order fulfilment.
Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Implement and refine warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness while minimizing errors and waste.
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and develop strategies to reduce excess inventory and stock outs.
Collaborate with other departments to meet customer expectations by ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
Control operational costs within budgetary constraints, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, dispatch and inventory control.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
Recruit, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counting.
Implement inventory optimization strategies.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Forecast demand and set reorder points.

Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain or related qualification

Skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse role.
Proficient in MS Office and WMS
Knowledge of warehouse safety and regulatory requirements
