Job Description
Your duties will encompass:
- Full function bookkeeping.
- Efficiently manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing.
- Accounts payable principles, electronic banking and balancing of accounts.
- Customer invoicing.
- VAT processing.
- Maintenance of filing system.
- Assistance to Financial Manager, including but not limited to:
- Monthly reconciliations.
- Statutory submissions.
- Year-end audits.
- Budget preparation.
- Asset register maintenance.
- Owning the onboarding process for new employees (including the set-up of employment benefits).
- Improve the financial controls within the organization.
- Directing the preparation of financial reports summarizing and estimating the organization’s financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income.
Qualifications
- Matric.
- Accounting diploma or degree.
Skills
- 5 years'''' experience in Bookkeeping.
- Mining, Engineering and Construction industries.
- Experience in Pastel Partner / SAGE Accounting and Microsoft Office products.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills / teamwork.
