PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR (MPUMALANGA)

SUMMARY:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our clients team, playing a vital role in ensuring our employees receive their salaries accurately and on time. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise to handle all aspects of the payroll process, from data entry to tax calculations and statutory submissions.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll do:

• Process employee payroll accurately and efficiently using Pastel Payroll software.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Calculate and process monthly employee salaries, deductions, and taxes.
• Prepare and submit required statutory reports to SARS and other relevant authorities.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal payroll controls.
• Stay up-to-date on legislative changes affecting payroll regulations and ensure compliance.

• Possess a Matric qualification.
• Hold a valid Pastel Payroll certificate and have at least 3 years of experience working with the software.
• Demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Possess basic accounting and practical accounting knowledge, although not mandatory.
• Be familiar with South African payroll legislation and regulations.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Be a team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Possess a positive attitude and be eager to learn and grow within the company.
