SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, layout, and development of printed circuit boards for a variety of electronic products, ensuring optimal performance, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and layout of multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer or similar tools.
Collaborate with Hardware Engineers to translate schematics into PCB layouts.
Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and ensure that designs meet EMC and safety standards.
Generate manufacturing documentation and BOMs for production.
Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing.
Assist with prototype testing and troubleshooting PCB-related issues.
Stay updated with the latest PCB technologies and design trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in PCB design and layout.
Proficiency in Altium Designer, Eagle, or equivalent CAD software.
Strong understanding of high-speed design principles, EMI/EMC considerations, and signal integrity.
Experience with SMT and through-hole technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with rigid-flex or HDI PCB designs.
Knowledge of embedded systems or firmware development is a plus.
Familiarity with IPC standards and compliance processes.
