PHP Developer

Our client, a growing company in the IT industry, is looking for a Front End Web Developer to join their team in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric;
• National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science; and
• 3 years’ experience in back end web development.

Technical Requirements:

• Experience in PHP and object orientated coding;
• Experience with MVC PHP Frameworks;
• Experience in MySQL, relational database design and writing SQL queries.
• Experience in working with GIT repos;
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3 and SASS would be advantageous; and
• Experience with JavaScript and JQuery would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conducting website analysis and application requirements;
• Writing back-end code;
• Developing back-end portals;
• Integrating data storage solutions; and
• Troubleshooting application and coding issues;
