A well-established packaging company in Gauteng has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level PLC Programmer/Manager.

This company manufacture and produce products that is mainly in the food and beverage packaging industry. The perfect candidate would have extensive experience in this field doing PLC Programming as well as managing teams. Apply today if you are willing to take on this role!

Education:

• BEng/ BTech/ NDip in Mechatronics/Electronics/Electrical or related fields

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 4 – 6 years’ experience in Mechatronics or Electrical fields
• Managing staff, budgets, quotes and training of staff
• Managing and training the team and practically doing the work if needed.
• Design, Develop, Installation, Training and Commissioning
• Electrical circuit designs and schematics on E-Plan
• SCADA/ HMI development on WinCC and TIA
• Write PLC Programs from scratch - Siemens (Siemens S7/300/1200/1500), Allen Bradley and B&R will add to your advantage
• Cost control for projects
• Communication protocols set up and programming as well as VSDrives, Danfoss, Allen Bradley, SEW, ext.
• Proof of projects previously worked on
• The perfect candidate would have previous experience in the food and beverage industry.
