JOB SUMMARY:
Perform operations related to a unit trust fund

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your relevant degree or diploma plus 3-5 years experience in the financial services or asset management industry with knowledge of CIS Funds will assist you to:

- Setting Up Unit Trust Funds
- Implementing Fund Changes
- Opening of Offshore Bank Accounts
- Setting Up new classes
- Perform Fund Maintenance
- Investigating and resolving Fund Queries:

o FundQueriesfromServiceProvidersandTrustees

o PartnerQueries

o Logging Cherwell’s for Partners

- Managing the Cash Recon
- Warning Flow Checks
- New Manager Introduction and Training - Fund Pricing Checks and Verification
- Pricing Errors & Price Fixes

o Communicating
o ImpactAssessments
o Implementation of Corrections

- Client Rebates
o Changing rebate rates on Silica, checking and following up to make sure changes are in place

o Performingpre-monthendchecks

o Performingdetailedmonthendchecks

- Help to manage the FinSwitch profiles o LoadingFunds

o FundMaintenance

o LoadingNewUsers
- Managing of Maitland reporting and distribution list changes for Partners - Running Scrip Transfers, Take On’s and Amalgamations
- Lodging of Instruments in Custody
- Calculating and loading of Weighted Average Cost
- Following up with the partners to make sure instructions are in place

o Helptoresolveunmatchedlocalandforeigntrades

o Helptoresolvefailingtrades

o CorporateEvents
- Business Online & Banking Updates - Processing Fee Payments
- Processing Ad Hoc Local Payments - Processing Foreign Payments
- Performing month end fee checks

o ServiceFees

- Updating of registers and ensuring integrity of data

o BankInformationSheet o Feechanges

o CorporateEvents

o Rebates

o PricingErrors o SARS

o WarningFlows o ContactLists

- Completing Month End Tasks
- Completing quarterly templates for Allan Gray
- Quarter End Distribution Information and Checks
- Completing of foreign tax documentation incl W8BENE for US
- Managing delivery of C23 Data to Maitland and subsequent queries - Sourcing of quarterly TER data
- Managing Process Documents
- General day to day queries, requests, assisting wherever possible
