Over the last 22 years, our client has grown into a well developed Consulting Structural, Civil and Timber Engineering Firm that offers their clients a complete packaged service.

Job Description

To fulfil the responsibilities of this role, you are expected to be detail-oriented, creative, and possess problem-solving skills, display an investigative nature and must be accurate, commercially aware, and have great communication skills. This is a collaborative position that will allow the Engineer to learn from those around them while also getting a chance to work autonomously on projects from concept to completion. This position will involve taking on a team-lead role to assist junior engineers to develop their skills while still performing your own designs.

You will:

Assist in structural design and detailing of various structures (Steel, Concrete, Masonry)
Create technical drawings and project specifications.
Liaise with professionals such as architects, specialist engineers, clients and contractors.
Perform site inspections of structural elements.
Perform a team-lead role assisting junior engineers to develop their skills

Qualifications

BSc Civil Engineering

Skills

3-8yrs experience
Experience with AutoCAD, or similar computer-aided detailing software. Revit is a plus.
Experience with BIM design software, such as Prokon.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
