Job Description

The Lead Structural Engineer will be responsible for the structural engineering activities of the
company which incorporates concrete and steel structures in multi-level buildings, industrial plants
and water retaining structures.
In addition, the Lead Structural Engineer will also be responsible for providing management, support,
direction and leadership to the structural team in the Durban office. The Lead Structural Engineer
will manage engineering activities within all the divisions required for project and service deliverables
to be achieved efficiently and within the specific timescales.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng pref
• BTech will be considered
• PrEng / PrTechEng

Skills

• Some 15 years exp post qualification in structural concrete and steelwork designs of multi-level buildings, industrial plants and water retaining structures. • Possess a detailed understanding of engineering activities required for consulting, engineering services, EPCM and EPC contracts.
