What You'll Bring:
- Diploma or Degree in Purchasing Management (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the steel/roofing industry, encompassing local and import purchasing and inventory management.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and an in-depth understanding of Syspro.
- Solid knowledge of steel, building equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced Excel skills to analyze data and manage purchasing processes effectively.
- Familiarity with steel supply, steel quality, building products, and raw materials used in the steel industry.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating effectively with all levels of employees and stakeholders.
