The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include

Raw Material Planning to avoid Stockouts
Reviewing Requisitions and Purchase Orders
Management of Contracts
Training of team
Entering into negotiations to ensure best prices and quality

Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (a must)

Experience

4+ years Procurement / Technical Buying experience within a Manufacturing environment (a must)
Experience with Imports and Custom Procedures (a must)
Planning and Stock Control
Experience with Procurement Contracts
Experience with Negotiations to reduce total out flow
Training and mentoring of staff

Skills Required

Supervising Procurement of Raw Materials, Maintenance Spares and Consumables within a Manufacturing environment
Import & Customs Knowledge
Reviewing all Requisitions
