PRODUCTION ADVISOR
Kakamas, Northern Cape
PURPOSE:
The Production Advisor thrives to specialize in seed production techniques, ensuring the quality, quantity, and efficiency of the seed production processes. This position plays a critical role in the seed yield quantities and quality produced by each Grower in the assigned area of responsibility and ultimately delivered/ exported to Clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Field preparation
- Seed lot productions
- Plant Protection
- Plant Nutrition
- Irrigation
- Harvesting and Storage
- Execute trials on farms
- Seed Processing and Storage
REQUIREMENTS:- B.Sc Agriculture (Agronomy and Soil Science) or equivalent
- The ability to critically analyse information, and identify potential problem areas
- Detail and Quality Orientation
