DP & JC Goosen Boerdery is an established agricultural business in the Prince Alfred Hamlet area, approximately 10km from Ceres. The farm produces quality stone and core fruit as well as butternut for export and local markets.

The Production Manager will be responsible for the management of a unit in Wolseley, consisting of 57ha of butternut and 30ha of stone fruit.

A coordination function for the vegetable warehouse also forms part of the post. This position will form part of a management team that reports directly to production focused board members.

The job incumbent will be responsible for the management of all production activities consisting of planning, organizing, guiding, and controlling.

The ideal candidate is an energetic and practical person with at least 3 years’ experience in the cultivation of stone fruit and butternut. A tertiary qualification in agriculture will strengthen your application.
