SUMMARY:

Our client based in Parow Industria, is a highly respected employer in the agricultural industry. They have a vacancy for a PRODUCTION MANAGER to be based at their new production facility in the West Coast area.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and manage all production related activities and administration.
Organise effective daily logistics and distribution schedules.
Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the production areas including the flow of product from start to finish.
Managing employees by evaluating performance and productivity.
Ensure good quality assurance and OHASA practices are followed
Provide assistance for the maintenance of the food safety system in the factory.

REQUIREMENTS:

2 - 5 years’ experience in a production environment (Food manufacturing environment will be an advantage)
Own transport and driving license
Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP will be an advantage
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Pastel, Outlook)
