PRODUCTION PLANNER – ALRODE SOUTH (3812)

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a production planner in the steel industry
• Of sober habits
• Computer literate – advanced skilled on Excel and Syspro would be an advantage
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• A stable work record and contactable references
• Reside close to Alberton / Surrounding areas
• Advanced knowledge on Excel spreadsheets and formulas would be an advantage

Duties and responsibilities:

• Customer spec sheets
• Mini project plans
• Internal orders
• Checking stock in system for forecast planning
• Updating forecasts (in stock and planned to process)
• Working out setups for sizes to be cut (coils, slitting and sheets)
• Planning QCP’s
• Capturing QCP’s
• Daily follow-ups on jobs planned
• Daily communication with internal sales and production team
