PROJECT MANAGER - CIVILS

PROJECT MANAGER CIVILS– East London

This Candidate will be required to manage Key Projects within Hub areas:

• To manage all implementation projects in accordance with the approved plans in multiple areas.
• Ensure that in the execution of these projects due consideration is given to Health and Safety
• To enhance long term client relationships via effective image building and client communication.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• High Level and successful execution of strategic and priority projects.
• Management and reporting of all daily project progress.
• Develop and implement a project implementation strategy
• Projects are done using the company’s accepted and approved methods
• Project Quality management ensuring that Company Installations Standards are adhered to at all times
• Overall control of stock, the management and movement of stock and final stock reconciliation.
• Ensure that all transactions are validated and a PO is issued & authorized for every transaction
• Request weekly ledger reports on Project financial spend.
• Correctly Received stock and equipment are signed for after completed audit and verification
• Manage on charging of costs to projects
• Attend Municipal meetings
• Manage and insure reporting is submitted daily

Work experience & competency requirements:

• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in Project management is a requirement
• Operational experience in Civil Projects is an advantage
• Telecommunications Sector experience will be advantageous
• 3 year Degree in Project Management is an advantage
• SHEQ training with applicable qualification is an advantage
• Able to travel to other provinces and towns if needed
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
• Experience in project roll-out, planning and budgeting
• Strong analytical ability and problem solving aptitude
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Grade 12 is required
