They are currently seeking to appoint a Design Estimator who will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s ongoing growth and continued success

Job Description

The Design Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing projects, interpreting architectural and structural drawings, and contributing to tender submissions

Duties:

Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates
Compile and submit detailed quotations and tender documentation
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
Conduct site visits where required to assess project scope
Ensure estimates align with project specifications and company standards
Assist with value engineering and cost-saving proposals
Maintain updated pricing databases and supplier records
Collaborate with project managers and the design team to ensure smooth project handover

Qualifications

National Diploma in Design/Estimating – or higher
