POSITION INFO:
Employer Description Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer with a strong background in the shopfitting industry to join their procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials and suppliers, negotiating favourable pricing and terms, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials required for manufacturing and project delivery. Job Description Key Responsibilities Source and procure materials, products and services required for shopfitting projects. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms and contracts with suppliers. Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with new suppliers. Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and reliability. Obtain and compare quotations to secure the best value for the business. Process purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time. Coordinate with production, project management and finance teams regarding procurement requirements. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory planning where required. Resolve supplier queries, shortages and delivery issues. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and budget requirements Qualifications Qualification in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous Skills Pastel (Highly advantageous) Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
