POSITION INFO:

Duties

1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
4. Ensure resource availability and allocation
5. Recommend best practice
6. Manage changes in the project scope, schedule and costs
7. Report and escalate to management as needed
8. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
9. Perform risk management to minimize project risks
10. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
11. Issues and problem management which may arise
12. Reviews client's specifications for adherence to capabilities and with guidance. Provides construction alternatives when necessary.
13. Conducts conference calls with clients and attend client facing meetings with Sales/Client
14. Creates project scopes for complex individual projects.
15. Conducts regular meetings with vendors when needed
16. Continually monitors and if needed suggests improvements to operational workflows to interface with vendors
17. Work with the Project team to adhere to project controls and processes
18. Facilitate the definition of the project scope and the subsequent control
19. Review, and be responsible for, the overall work effort and deliverables of the project team.
20. Manage the project budget to ensure accurate tracking and forecast
21. Applications for Payment to the Owner are properly submitted, payment is promptly received.
22. Management is informed as to the progress of the project, its financial status and current Owner relations.
23. To see that all drawings and specifications are examined, prior to beginning construction, for design deficiencies, impractical detail, and through a meeting with the design team, bring them to a resolution.
24. To see that the prescribed quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project. 

Administration

1. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
2. Measure project performance
3. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
4. Organise meetings, create agenda, take minutes
5. Creating PowerPoint presentations
6. Perform administrative duties when necessary
7. Cost collation for invoicing
8. Keeping an update on compliance regulations
9. Creates and updates project scope for complex individual projects.
10. Sets out timelines/schedules & present to the client.
11. Status sheets - keep all schedules updated with actual dates for tasks completed.
12. Relationship as required. Provides minutes of call/ meeting as a follow-up.
13. Develops & maintains necessary records & files for efficient operation.
14. Review and manage all project issues, changes and risks through formally, defined processes
15. Requirements pertinent to insurance, HSE, labour relations and employment regulations are met.
16. Reporting and forecasting of cost through a cost value reconciliation format is achieved on an accurate and timely basis.
17. Ensure that additional project costs are submitted and accounted for in a timely manner
18. To have a complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Contract Documents, the General Contract and the Subcontracts.
19. To ensure that requisitions for subcontracts and purchase orders are prepared and submitted on a timely basis

TECHNICAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
• BSC degree in Electrical Engineering • Problems Solving
• Photovoltaic/ Renewable Energy Engineering
• Excellent organisation skills • Background in construction management, management/financial accounting and analysis.
