Responsibilities:

Manage the total packaging process in terms of productivity, effectivity, protocol adherence, packing tempo and quality control
Oversee effective management of the cold store
Manage the Health & Safety and Compliance systems (OHSA, BRC & HACCP)
Pack house purchases and cost management
Manage the maintenance and repairs function of the pack house
Personnel management

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in a fruit pack house management role
Relevant post matric qualification will be advantageous
Well-developed leadership and management skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office & Vitrax
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication (English & Afrikaans) and interpersonal skills
Ability to function well under pressure and prioritise tasks
