Packhouse Systems Administrator (Citrus - Nelspruit)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Citrus Agricultural sector is looking for a Packhouse Systems Administrator to join their team in Nelspruit area.
Salary:
R10 000 - R12 000ctc

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 with Math’s and/or Accounting
• Packhouse / farm administration experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of PowerBi is advantageous
• Duties include:
• Administration, marketing plan and Packsys:
• Receive and evaluate the marketing plan from Marketers, capture this on our system
• Create packing instruction aligned with marketing needs and fruit quality
• Communicate the packing instruction to the production, QC, carton teams to prepare for packing
• Manage the packed volumes on the system and communicate updates to the exporter
• Manage pack outs and communication
• Evaluate and control the volume packed and compile a pack out report after each pack run
• Communicate the pack outs to the growers and management team daily
• Evaluate and correct allocation errors during packing
• Labels:
• Obtain and create setup of special labels to be used during packing
• Communicate the use of special labels accurately to the production team
• Controlling the use of our branded special labels
• Traceability:
• Compile and trace data throughout the system from intake to dispatch
• Communication and reporting:
• Communicate changes to different departments, ensuring that all departments are updated and well informed
• Evaluate volumes of data and comp
