Paintshop Process Lab Technician

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Paint Shop Laboratory team as Process Laboratory Technicians. The successful candidates will support laboratory operations by ensuring that all materials used in the manufacturing process comply with Group specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements through testing, analysis, and investigation.   Key Responsibilities •          Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of materials using laboratory equipment. •          Perform routine laboratory analyses and accurately document test results. •          Maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory equipment and facilities. •          Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with laboratory standards and ISO requirements. •          Support laboratory safety, environmental, and compliance requirements. •          Liaise with internal customers, suppliers, and accredited laboratories regarding material quality and testing requirements   Requirements   Minimum Qualifications: •          National Diploma in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.   Work Experience: •          3-5 years' experience in chemical analysis, laboratory testing, and data interpretation. •          Sound knowledge of laboratory protocols, testing standards, and quality systems. •          Experience in laboratory testing, data analysis, and quality control processes. •          Automotive industry experience will be advantageous.   Technical & Behavioral Competencies: •          Sound knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality control principles. •          Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve technical problems. •          Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory reporting systems. •          Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. •          Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. •          Effective communication and interpersonal skills. •          Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. •          Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
