POSITION INFO:
An excellent opportunity exists for a Paraplanner to join a professional advisory team based in Northcliff. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and client-focused individual who enjoys supporting Financial Advisers with technical, administrative, and planning-related functions while building a long-term career in financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial planning and administrative support to allocated Financial Advisers
• Prepare financial plans, risk management documents, and Statements of Advice in line with adviser strategy, client needs, and compliance requirements
• Assist with portfolio reviews, ensuring investment strategies remain aligned to client objectives and market conditions
• Review and manage clients’ risk cover, recommending changes where appropriate
• Prepare and maintain accurate client reports, review documentation, and correspondence
• Liaise directly with clients regarding queries, applications, and documentation
• Gather policy and client information and compile clear, accurate summaries
• Research product information and prepare quotations and new business applications
• Manage diaries, prepare for review appointments, and report on new business statistics
• Maintain and update CRM systems and client records in line with internal procedures

Requirements

• BCom degree in Finance, Investments, Financial Planning, Economics, or a related field
• CFP and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Paraplanner
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements
