JOB SUMMARY:
A Successful agricultural distribution company based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ an experienced Parts Manager to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Purchasing of stock locally and internationally
Arrangement of air or sea freight
Arrangement of customs documents and release of stock
Receipts of Inventory
Elaboration and control of Sales Prices
Inventory Management – Slow- and fast-moving Inventory
Checking internal accounts. Claims, stock etc.
Control of Sales Margins
Handling budgets, purchases, inventory, and sales
Oversee credits on spare parts
Price lists and quotes on spare parts sales and purchases
Check that all invoices are costed according to supplier’s state
Follow up when salesmen book out back orders when stock arrives
Check that sales prices match back-order quotes

Requirements:

Matric
Tertiary qualification
5+ Years’ Experience as a Parts Manager (International freight, especially how customs / TSA works)
International purchase experience will be advantageous.
Sound knowledge and understanding of inventory monitoring principles.
Drawing up budgets and must be good with numbers
Computer literate, including above average excel experience.
Willing to travel
Valid Driver's License
Demonstrate good leadership skills.
Good oral and written communication skills – Afrikaans and English.
Ability to maintain a positive working environment.
Outstanding organizational skills.
A keen eye for detail for accuracy.
Excellent team management abilities.
Ability to solve problems instantly.
