SUMMARY:

Main Purpose

The Payments Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all payments, ensuring financial integrity through proper verification, reconciliation, and compliance with internal controls.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Process daily payments accurately and within required timelines
Verify payment details and supporting documentation before processing
Monitor payment schedules and ensure all obligations are met on time
Investigate and resolve payment queries and discrepancies
Perform payment reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience in a payments administration or finance role advantageous
Strong numerical ability with high attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Financial system experience advantageous (SAP, Pastel, or similar)
Good understanding of payments, reconciliations, and financial processes
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
