Payroll Accountant

SUMMARY:
One of the largest publishers and printers in South Africa is looking for a talented Payroll Accountant to join their diverse team. This position will be based in Johannesburg West.

Job & Company Description:

The successful candidate will need to pay high attention to detail and accuracy as well as work under pressure and deliver on the deadlines set out for this individual.

Duties included, but not limited to:

• Accounting activities in Payroll
• Reconciliations
• Audit preparations
• Financial reviews

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A minimum of 2 years working experience as a Payroll Accountant
• Payroll knowledge of SAGE VIP Premier
• Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups)
• Understanding of financial reports and statements
• Knowledge of TERS and SARS processes relating to payroll

Education

• Matric is essential
• Accounting degree or diploma
