POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking for an exciting temporary opportunity in Midrand? My client is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join a dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Full end-to-end payroll administration
Processing new hires, terminations, and employee record updates (banking, IDs, etc.)
Managing maternity leave, calculations, and UI19 forms
Handling payroll deductions (garnishees, staff debts, etc.)
Processing expense claims via payroll
Reconciling payment reports and remuneration lists
Responding to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and payroll legislation
Maintaining confidentiality and contributing to team effectiveness

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll environment
NQF 4 (Matric / Adult Senior Certificate); Payroll Diploma is a plus
Qualified SAGE 300 People Payroll Administrator
Advanced Excel skills, especially VLOOKUP
Solid understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act & Labour Relations Act
