Payroll Analyst (International)

POSITION INFO:

A multinational company based in the Western Cape is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team. The role will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls for international countries (EMEA and APAC) and ensuring that all reports, audits, and taxes are completed and compliant with country specific regulations.

Education:

• Relevant Finance qualification preferred

Skills/Experience required:

• 3 - 5 years working experience in a similar role
• APAC and EMEA payroll processing experience
• Payroll tax experience
• Experience using UKG strongly preferred
• Advanced MS Office

Job Description:

• Process semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for team members across multiple countries in an accurate and timely manner
• Reconcile and resolve complex payroll processing and team member pay issues
• Verify earnings and deductions for payroll related matters including but not limited to stock tax calculations, commissions, discretionary bonuses, garnishments, social security and income tax, and ensure they are applied correctly.
• Manage payroll-processing schedule for multiple countries and ensure deadlines are met
• Assist in company audits
• File monthly payroll tax fillings
• Monitor payroll tax reporting to ensure compliance with appropriate governmental agencies per country.
• Maintain payroll transaction records such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and team member statistics for reporting and audit purposes
