JOB SUMMARY:
One of the leading Pulp & Paper company based in Springs within a plant is currently looking for a Payroll Clerk with the following skills & experience:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Incumbent will be required to ensure payroll data has been received and captured accurately,
employees are paid on time and payslips are printed and distributed on a weekly/monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

Transact payroll information by collecting, calculating, and accurately capturing data;
Ensure processes are always followed;
Maintain and update employee records on the payroll system as per approved requests;
Resolve first (1st) line enquiries timeously and effectively;
Ensure footprint cases are resolved within the service level agreement;
Maintain a filing system;
Printing and distribution of payslips on a weekly/monthly basis;
Capturing of leave forms and conducting leave audits;
Participate and/or manage any project that is initiated in SSC whether team or individual input is required;
Liaise with all customers when required;
Ensure compliance as per company delegation of authority; and
Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.

Qualifications:

Matric Certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy and Accounting.
Payroll Diploma or Certificate will be advantageous;

Job Requirements:

Minimum Two (5) years’ working experience in Payroll;
Payroll processing experience on payrolls with a minimum head of 1500 employees
JDE System experience Essential; and
MS Office Competence.
