JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking to hire a Payroll Clerk for their branch in Cape Town soonest.

VIP Premier or any similar package experience is a must and will count in your favour.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

You will be assisting the Payroll Administrator with their duties by means of admin-related tasks set out by management on a daily basis.

This will be done via using the VIP system and keeping a firm grasp on all the admin-related matters that need attention.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Make sure employees get paid on time and that all data is kept up to date.
Strong Numeracy skills are required for you to do your day-to-day responsibilities.
Must have knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
Must be able to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of experience working in a payroll office.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs. (VIP Payroll or related software)
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Team Player
