SUMMARY:
A JSE listed entity in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a Payroll Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible to administer, plan, review and control the timeous and accurate processing of payroll.

POSITION INFO:

A JSE listed entity in the manufacturing space is currently in the market for a Payroll Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible to administer, plan, review and control the timeous and accurate processing of payroll.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
• 4-5 years’ experience in payroll administration within a corporate environment and multiple function or operating companies
• 2- 3 years staff management or supervisory experience in payroll
• Forex payroll experience (advantageous)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Payroll Administration within a corporate environment with multiple function/operating companies.
• Fluent in English and German (essential)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all payroll input received via the input channels is evenly distributed across the team and tracked to completion
• Plan, monitor, and control bulk payroll activities including distribution of work to the team and consolidation of feedback to the business
• Update payroll system
• Design and prepare monthly payroll variance reports
• Review and quality assure changes/variations within the payroll system and review
• Resolve complex payroll queries
• Prepare and submit payroll reconciliations to the payroll processing manager
