SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for Payroll Financial Manager in the Finance Department based in Head Office - Centurion.

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

POSITION INFO:

Overseeing the monthly processing of payroll interface, reallocation and reversal journals
Overseeing the exporting of payroll reports in preparation for schedules and 3rd party payments
Review monthly 3rd party and salary control reconciliations.
Assistance and Guidance to the payroll team
Ensuring payment deadlines are met to all clients
Performing regular reconciliations of payroll data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
Assistance in payroll processes streamlining
Ensuring that payroll adheres to all relevant laws, regulations and company policies
Preparing accurate and timely payroll related financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Assistance in identifying and implementing opportunities to automate payroll processes and improve overall efficiency
Assist in addressing payroll related queries from auditors and other external parties

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

B Com degree or similar qualification
An understanding of financial transactions, processes and principles
Relevant accounting experience
Relevant Sage 300 People Experience
5+ years of experience in Payroll and financial management
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, SAP Accounting system and Sage 300 People
Strong Administrative skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines
Meticulous nature
Ability to work independently
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of relevant legislation
