POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Do

Lead the full payroll function for a large and diverse workforce.
Ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time payroll processing each month.
Provide payroll and tax expertise, guiding management on remuneration and benefits.
Drive process improvements, system efficiencies, and governance initiatives.
Partner with HR and Finance to deliver analytics, reports, and payroll insights.
Oversee statutory compliance (PAYE, UIF, EMP201, EMP501, Workman’s Comp).
Manage relationships with key external partners (Sage, Standard Bank, SARS, benefit providers).
Mentor and develop the Payroll Administrator, ensuring a culture of precision and accountability.

What You Bring

A BCom in HR / Accounting or similar qualification.
5–7 years’ payroll experience, with strong Sage 300 People / VIP Premier skills.
Proven experience managing payroll for complex environments.
A keen eye for detail, data integrity, and compliance.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive approach — you see payroll as both a service and a strategic business tool.
