SUMMARY:
Our client in the security field, is seeking an Payroll Administrator with proven experience in managing large-scale payrolls to join their finance team. This role requires hands-on expertise with VIP Payroll and the ability to handle wages for up to 1,200 employees efficiently and accurately.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Matric plus a Financial degree or Diploma
Proven experience as an Payroll Administrator with some Accounts responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of Sage VIP Payroll (Premier/People).
Ability to manage high-volume payrolls with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
A finance/accounting qualification a bonus
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Full payroll processing for up to 1,200 staff members.
Accurate calculation of wages, deductions, overtime, and statutory contributions.
Preparation and submission of SARS, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory returns.
Month-end reconciliations and payroll reporting to management.
Resolving payroll queries and ensuring compliance with legislation.
Supporting financial reporting and audits related to payroll.
