Ensure embedment of the Group compliance risk management framework and regulatory universe in respect of the Pension Funds Act and all regulatory requirements relating to the administration and management of retirement funds and their benefits (‘the PFA”). POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Drive compliance with the PFA across company operations
• Provide business with legislative requirements for PFA compliance
• Deal with requests for advice and respond to queries on PFA issues from the business
• Advise business on regulatory requirements (FSCA)
• Provide input on draft regulatory requirements
• Assist in responding to the regulator on PFA queries and submissions
• Ensure that an appropriate PFA CRMP is developed
• Conduct internal awareness sessions on the PFA and its associated regulations, codes of conduct, or information obtained from the regulator
• Provision of fit for purpose general PFA awareness and training across company Group
• Assist with the management of any PFA breaches in company Group 
• Review and provide input into PFA policies, standards and processes
• Being risk focussed by continually assessing both internal and external factors that influence the entities risk profile within reviews being monitored.
• Working closely with other teams and other assurance providers across Group itself.
• The ability to persuade and influence people and key stakeholders to ensure the primary goals are met.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree qualification 
• 5 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Extensive experience in PFA regulation
• Extensive knowledge of pension fund administration environment
• Implementing PFA procedures into a financial services environment
