JOB SUMMARY:

An Agricultural Research and Development company is seeking a half day Office Administrator to support the business and act as PA to the Director at their offices in Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must have a Matric or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent administration skills and office management experience are important
  • Must have advanced Computer Literacy
  • Good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, will be required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Arranging necessary travel arrangements i.e. accommodation, flights and car hire.
  • Attending and taking minutes at management meetings when necessary.
  • Travelling from time to time during external farmer’s meetings.
  • Providing necessary administration support to the rest of the team.
  • Managing reception and communication with customers.
  • Purchasing meals and refreshments for meetings and business events.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering stationery and cleaning consumables.
  • Organising dispatch and receipt of parcels through courier services.
  • Acting as a supervisor to the cleaning personnel.
  • Ensuring proper filing for all documents.
Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
