SUMMARY:
Are you serious about a longâterm career in farming and ready to learn from the ground up? Our intensive student programme offers handsâon experience on working piggery farms, with real responsibility and strong mentorship.

Who we’re looking for

We are ONLY considering candidates who meet these criteria:

Currently studying towards, or already completed, a recognised agriculture diploma or degree (no other fields will be considered).
Passionate about handsâon farming and eager to build a career in piggery production.
Willing to start at the bottom, do physical farm work, get your hands dirty and work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
Serious about learning, open to feedback, and able to handle a tough, demanding programme.
Strong team players who can communicate well and respect colleagues at all levels.
Proven determination and resilience (e.g. leadership roles, sport, SRC, residence committees, community projects or work experience).

What the programme offers

Structured, onâfarm practical experience in piggery operations.
Exposure to daily routines, animal care, production, hygiene, recordâkeeping and farm management practices.
Coaching and feedback from experienced farm managers.
Opportunities to demonstrate leadership, initiative and problemâsolving in a real farming environment.

This programme is demanding, physically and mentally. It is not for people who want an office job or are unsure about agriculture as a career. We are looking for graduates and students who know this is the industry they want to be in, who will pitch in wherever needed and grow through the challenges.
