Production Planner – Fabrication & Finishing
Koedoespoort, Pretoria
Key Responsibilities
-
Create and maintain production schedules.
-
Balance demand and capacity for machines, materials, and labor.
-
Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
-
Work with supervisors to resolve bottlenecks.
-
Ensure material availability with procurement and stores.
-
Apply lean planning to minimize downtime and improve throughput.
-
Track KPIs and report performance.
-
Support continuous improvement in planning processes.
Requirements
-
Experience in production planning (fabrication/finishing preferred).
-
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools.
-
Understanding of fabrication processes (laser cutting, welding, painting).
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
